What will it take?
Every renewal, every revival within the Church will take substantial effort and likely meet significant resistance.

Now more than ever, your parish needs you, and YOUR love for the Eucharist. If you have been waiting for the perfect time to launch, now is that time.
But, like other FOCUS Alumni, you might be asking questions like these: "How do I even start? Who can do this with me?"
If that’s the case, the Eucharistic Revival Challenge is the challenge you need. It will give you all the resources you need to pray, plan and execute revival in your parish. The American Church, the entire Alumni team and the missionary alumni family are all here to support you in this mission.

What exactly do you need to do in the Eucharistic Revival Challenge?
Sign up to be a parish leader through the USCCB
You will sign up as an official parish point person through the National Eucharistic Revival website. We'll walk you through the process once you register for the Challenge.
Write and submit parish plan
After attending a live workshop (1 of 4 required), you will use a PDF guide to create your plan. It will consist of four goals you deem appropriate for the current state of your parish. You will submit it via a link so the Alumni team can pray for your goals every Monday.
Attend 4 live workshops with other FOCUS missionary alumni
You will attend four live workshops to clarify, brainstorm, collaborate and pray with other FOCUS missionary alumni.
Complete the goals in your plan by June 2024
You will have from now until June to complete the goals you have created in your plan. You will submit the fruits you've seen and gather for a final live webinar (1 of 4 required) of prayer & thanksgiving to complete the challenge!

Don't do it all alone
The Eucharistic Revival Challenge will give you the step-by-step process for creating a plan, inviting others to help, and the formation and resources that will allow you to confidently build your parish with the love of the Eucharist.
Here's what you'll get...
When you enroll in this challenge during this limited time period
- 12 month access to our FOCUS Alumni formation platform lifelongU. This includes the growing course library of excellent formation, monthly live masterclasses in all things evangelization and real-life human formation, as well as access to restricted SEEK videos.
- Attend SEEK24 for only $25...yes you read that right, 25 bucks! Continue to be fed and encouraged by joining the Alumni Team at SEEK24 in St. Louis, Jan 1-5, 2024. Your entire family can register for only $25/adult in honor of FOCUS' 25th Anniversary. This deal includes free registration for all your children in high school or younger that still live under your roof, as well as free on-site childcare (limited to first 200 children registered & only offered for ages 18 months - 10 years old).
- Exclusive perks at SEEK24. Special meet and greets, early access to special events, and other perks.
- Join FOCUS at the National Eucharistic Congress July 17-21, 2024 in Indianapolis. By registering with us, you’ll receive the 20% off group discounted rate, you’ll lodge within our group block, and you’ll be able to join multiple FOCUS-hosted sessions and happy hours throughout the Congress! (Congress attendance is not required for Challenge participants.)
- Live small-group collaboration with other FOCUS Alumni. Be supported by and trade great ideas with other missionary alumni!
- Monthly connection points to discuss any difficulties, joys, or questions you may have along the way. Each month, an Alumni team member will be available for help during "office hours". And at any point, you have access to the Alumni team and other FOCUS alumni via our online community if you find yourself stuck.
- Live webinar with Bishop Cozzens, head of the National Eucharistic Revival. We will welcome Bishop Cozzens to speak exclusively to our missionary alumni participating in this challenge! This webinar will help you continue your excitement to be a missionary of the Eucharist.

You should give this challenge a shot if you’re motivated by any of the following:

Frequently Asked Questions
Who is included in the $25/adult for SEEK24 registration?
You & your spouse (if you're married) each can register for $25. Your children that are high school age or younger receive free registrations.
Sorry this deal only applies to FOCUS missionary alumni and their children. Significant others who are not married to a missionary alum do not qualify. Any children older than high school age will need to register separately as a general attendee and do not qualify for the $25 registration.
How do we get free childcare at SEEK24?
Everyone who signs up will qualify for free childcare. HOWEVER, there is a 200 child limit for the conference. Therefore it's first-come, first-served.
The sooner you register for the challenge and turn in your parish plan, the sooner you can register for SEEK and secure your childcare. Childcare is offered only to children between the ages of 18 months and 10 years old. Childcare times include 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Days 2-4 (Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday) of conference, subject to change.
What do we do if there is already a person or committee working on Eucharistic revival in our parish? What if we go to a parish with other missionary alum?
If you sign up for this challenge with us, you will be required to submit a parish plan. However, we realize every parish situation is different. If there's already a committee in place, or other missionary alumni at your parish participating in the Challenge, it may mean you collaborate with them and submit a plan based on what you specifically are doing as part of that team. Or you could choose a unique angle for your plan that the committee/other alumni isn't covering. Be creative in the ways you collaborate! If you have a special situation, feel free to email tyler.degen@focus.org to inquire about what you can do.
Does my spouse need to also be a point person (if they come to SEEK)?
No they don't, but we don't want you to do this alone. We would love for you to find someone at your parish you can run with. In fact, inviting another to join you will be part of completing your parish plan, and that could but doesn't have to be your spouse. They can be as involved in the parish plan as he/she is able.
What is the deadline for signing up for the challege?
The deadline to register for the challenge has been extended until October 13th at 11:59 p.m.
The deadline for signing up for SEEK24 for $25 (after submitting your parish plan) will be October 27 at 11:59 p.m.
How long is this challenge?
The National Eucharistic Revival "Parish Year" officially runs June 2023 - June 2024. Your plan will span over this time period, but it doesn't need to end in June 2024. We will officially gather to close the challenge in late May/early June 2024, but your plan can obviously continue. You are also invited to join FOCUS at the National Eucharistic Congress, July 17-21, 2024, which launches the "Year of Mission". What happens after I sign up?
You will receive an email with six steps for you to follow immediately which will take about 20 minutes. We will guide you via email and live webinars on what to do once those steps are completed.
What resources will I need for this challenge?

I'm not a missionary alumni with FOCUS, can I still participate?
While the SEEK24 for $25 incentive is only for former FOCUS staff, we do invite anyone else to join us in the Eucharistic Revival Challenge. If you are not a FOCUS staff alum, but would still like to join the challenge and receive a SEEK discount incentive, please email Tyler Degen: tyler.degen@focus.org.
