God comes to us, expressing His love to us, at Christmas. Then in the early days of ordinary time, we always read from the beginning of our Lord's public ministry and His call of His disciples. We're called at this time and invited to renew our dedication to Him.
Then we enter into His passion and death with Him and participate in His Resurrection.
